when i build the PcapDotNet.Core project i received a error message 'Error 2 fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'pcap.h': No such file or directory'.

Can anyone help me?

BTW, it must install WinPcap before using PcapDotNet lib?

If you want to compile Pcap.Net (and not just use it), you need to follow the "Compiling the code" section in Pcap.Net Developer Guide.

This means you need to download WinPcap Developer's pack and put the files in the 3rdParty section as written in Pcap.Net Developer Guide.

If you want just to use Pcap.Net, you don't need to try and compile it so you won't get that error.

Scrap that, I'd missed the download winpcap pack step into 3rdparty folder

@choccybutton, If you have the same error this means you probably haven't put the WinPcap 4.11's WpdPack directory in Pcap.Net's 3rdParty directory.

You can see which directories PcapDotNet.Core project searches for include files in the project properties and make sure WinPcap's pcap.h is there. Let me know if this resolves the issue.

I'll consider releasing a VS2010 binaries version soon.

Yes, I put WpdPack directory in Pcap.Net's 3rdParty directory, and it works fine now. Thank U very much!
