How can we change the size of the packets?

As my title says, how can we change the size of the packets? I'm trying to create an application that will help me test the strain on my server and web server, however the default 46 bytes or whatever isn't near enough, I need around 512 as that is what I usually get hit with, so blocking 46, won't help me with 512.

Hi Foxkeh,

How do you create the 46 bytes packet?

Basically, you should build a packet from Layers that represent the packet content.

In a lot of cases, you can put PayloadLayer as the last Layer and put whatever data you want, and in any length you want.

I hope this helps,

Boaz.
