Packet dump in a list object

Feb 2, 2015 at 4:21 PM
Now In my capture i dump packet in a list and that works well because i manipulate all packets in the list object.
I want to know if i can store packets in my list after capturing in a dump file in order to use it for an offline packet Capture?

Hi Barack1234,

I'm sorry, I don't understand your question.
Can you explain what are you trying to achieve, what works and what doesn't and maybe give some code for reference?

hi Brickner.
In my program I received packets by calling "communicator.ReceivePackets(0, PacketHandler)". I save each packet received in a List<packet> objet. So I can access any packet at index i in this list.
My concern is that: I want to store all packets in this list in a libpcap file if i decide to stop runnig. Here in order to displays every packet contained in the file. Is it possible?

Hi Barack1234,

If you want to dump the packets into a pcap file, see the "Handling offline dump files" section in the Pcap.Net User Guide.
